An IoT solution combines many different technologies, starting from physical devices and covering all layers up to end-user applications. Knowing where to begin your own IoT project can be a bit overwhelming.
This course will help you get into advanced projects using real IoT devices like sens’it, parking sensor, weather station, BLE accelerometer, IoT innovation Kit, and much more.
We’ll experiment with these IoT devices using wireless networks such as Sigfox, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Wi-Fi to build various projects step-by-step.
What you'll learn
After completing this course you will be able to:
Using different IoT devices that operate on the Sigfox network, such as sens’it, parking sensor, and weather station.
Connecting Sigfox devices with the Sigfox network to send their collected data.
Implementing various projects using IoT devices, such as light sensor, BLE accelerometer, and temperature sensor that integrate with Bluetooth Low Energy wireless network.
Applying different projects using devices that operate on Wi-Fi network like IoT innovation Kit (IoTiK).
Monitoring data collected from devices using MasterOfThings IoT AEP (Application Enablement Platform).
The course builds on two previous courses:
• Introduction to the Internet of Things - IoT Value Chain.
• IoT Applications Development using MasterOfThings platform.
- Basic Networking Concepts.
