Vector AUTOSAR Software Expert Eslam Maged Elsayed explores the motivations for advancements in charging communication technologies. The session covers the basics, applications, standards, protocols, and infrastructure needed for charging systems. We discuss the Combined Charging System (CCS), its architecture, charging modes, high-level communication, and authorization mechanisms like External Identity Management (EIM) and Plug and Charge(PNC).
